there's a bumble bee in there, do you see it?

I can't even begin to describe how I feel right now.
I'm in PAIN.
I'm miserable.
I want to smack Medela in the face.
I could cry right now.
My boobs are killing me. Is that OK for me to say?
After all, it is my blog.
I haven't pumped since 1:30 yesterday. YESTERDAY! THURSDAY! Ugh.
My power cord took a huge crap and decided to stop working, must be a short. The thing stinks. As in, smells real bad.
I've thought about running out and buying a new PUMP just so I could stop being in pain. But, I really don't want to drop $300 just so I can use the power cord.
I've called the hospital...no answer. CALL ME BACK!
Target and Babies R Us don't have anything in stock.

I love not having work on Monday and what's even better, Justin has off as well. There is nothing better than spending the day with the two people I adore the most.
I love the weather we had over the weekend but I can't say I love the weather today...or yesterday. It's been cold and dreary.
I love Apple Tree Boutique and her drooler bibs. I put in an order for 6 bibs for Laila and I can not wait to get them.
I love me some wet slobbery I'm.going.to.eat.your.face.kisses that Laila recently started giving.
I love Liptons Passionfruit Mango Green Tea. It's the bomb.
I love rainstorms and on Sunday we had a pretty herrendous one which completely destroyed our kitchen because Justin and I left the windows open. We had no clue a storm was coming our way. My camera was even sitting on the kitchen table and it got drenched.
But, I do love that my camera SURVIVED!
I love feeding Laila baby food around dinner time. She gets so excited when you pull out what she'll be eating along with her bib, spoon and chair. It's adorable.
I love the time Justin and I have spent together during the week. It's been refreshing, relaxing and stress free.
I love waking up in the morning to find Laila lying on her belly with her butt up in the air. Cutest.thing.ever.
I love this table cloth from Tar-Jay. How cool would it be if I used it for a curtain? Idea from Sometimes Sweet
Happy Thursday!!

About a week ago, Justin and I Mykenzie discovered there was a little home of birdies growing up on the side of our house. In that gray box to be exact. The mama and dada are constantly in and out, bringing food and such. Mykenzie 's curiosity won't keep her away!
And then there is this lil' fella which just breaks my heart to see. We found this fella yesterday just lying on the ground, I think mama and dada made a home in the gutter and baby bird fell. I just so badly wanted to pick the bird up and give it warmth. It just looked so helpless. But, while we were outside, mama bird sat on baby bird for warmth, almost the whole entire time.

Get well soon baby bird and hope to see you flying around ASAP!

Jess over @ Here Comes the Sun posted about her 2011 Summer Bucket List, which I find fantastic. I decided to join in because there's a lot I would like Justin, Laila and myself to do this summer. Here is my list.
Continue on my diet for more than a week {I suck at diets) and then continue on it after summer
Lose 20 lbs over the summer
Try new foods that are healthier and more filling
Grill out once a week or maybe even more{while still being healthy}
Take a walk every day or at least every other day with Justin, Laila, myself and Mykenzie {dog}
Do some P90X or Turbo Dance, or maybe even some ab exercises for that flabby skin
Try new foods {I'm an incredibly picker eater}
Take Laila to the beach
Justin and I have 6 Flags Season Passes and I would like for us to use them at least 10 times {last year we went once with our passes and only walked around because I was pregnant}
Do some serious cleaning around the house. That includes donating unused items that just collect dust
Learn how to use my camera, the right way
Continue with my photography course that I started a couple months ago {yikes}
Or maybe even pick up another course
Learn Extreme Couponing {I'm addicted}
Try to blog more often & I'm sorry but I seriously suck at blogging on a daily basis
Build a garden full of delicious fruits and veggies
Or go to the Farmers Market since it's right.down.the.road
And even plant some gorgeous flowers around the house
Try to spend more days away from the tv and my cell phone
Get Justin to not talk about his car 24/7...men! {I kid, I kid...}
Get rid of my ghost appearance. Sun shine here I come!
Do much needed maintenance on my car that should have been done a while ago
Start a 365 Project and stick to it {maybe this will even help me learn how to use my camera}
Take Laila to see family members more often, especially Justin's family. She just doesn't get to see them as often as I like
Take Laila to the Milwaukee Museum
Step out of my boring wardrobe, which includes a very comfy pair of jeans and a plain ol boring t-shirt
Buy some dresses!
Take a road trip down to Kentucky or Ohio
Read 10 new books
Go camping
Attempt to stay up late and have a movie marathan night with Justin
Take Laila to new parks in our area
Get Laila on 3 baby food meals a day. She'll still get breastmilk in between a breakfast, lunch and dinner
Use the hair dye that's been sitting in our bathroom cuboard for a couple months!
Spend as much time with Justin and Laila as I possibly can. Oh, how I miss having summer's off like when I was younger.
sun tan lotion, cute baby hats, sitting outside...ya, I can definitely get use to this!

It's Friday Thursday and that means it's Things I love Thursday! Head on over to Melissa's blog and link up.
I'm loving Pinterest. Ah, who knew someone could be addicted to something so..so wonderful. I don't know what took me so long to pin. LOVE it.
I'm loving my 3 day weekend coming up. Yay for no work on Friday. I really just needed a day off of work to de-stress.
I'm completely loving this recipe. Frozen Reese's Peanut Butter Pie, um yes please!
I'm loving this necklace, it's something I say to Justin as well as Laila. Not to mention, it's just too cute to pass up.
This necklace/dog tags from Heart & Stone Jewlery would be perfect for Justin for a possible Father's Day gift. I love that I could put in Laila's date of birth as well as her measurements when born. It's also a significant piece because Justin was in the Navy.
This camera strap has become a huge love of mine and I'm hoping to get it soon. I have a serious crush on owls.
I love watching Laila reach new milestones. Did I mention she can sit up now, she started doing that a couple weeks ago. It's fantastic!
I love plants and flowers. And I even bought a little adorable plant for my cubicle. I'm tempted to head on over to Steins and pink up some large plants for our house tonight. Lets hope they don't die on me, though!
I recently went to a Lia Sophia Party over the weekend and I have to admit, I love their jewlery. My wish list is way too long. I've decided to throw my own party as well.
I love love love candles and wall plug-ins and pretty much just anything that smells good. Our whole house smells like Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint.
I love when I hold Laila and she decides to bury her face in my armpit. It's just too adorable. Hopefully, I don't have stinky pits, ahaha.
I've come to realize how much I do love my HTC Aria. Even though the touch screen completely took a crap over the weekend. But now I'm left using a older version phone and it just makes me realize how much I miss and love my old phone. Stupid technolgy, why must you be sooo addicting!?
Most importantly, I love life.

Laila got to experience the Milwaukee County Zoo for the very first time on April 30th. And by experience, I mean sleep for the majority of the time. During the time she was awake, she was just exploring and staring at the animals. Probably wondering what the heck those things were. All in all, it was an amazing time spent with my mother, their foster child Shyann (Shane Ellen, whom they plan on adopting) Ali and of course Laila.
Here is a sneak peak.
I can't wait for Justin, Laila and I to go back!

Laila turned 5 months a couple days ago, so this post is semi-late. I just completely forgot to post about it. And seriously, where is the time going?
Laila doesn't have an appointment until June, so unfortunately, I'm not positive on her height and weight. I can do all of that at home, though. I'll update this once I know.
She's wearing size 2 diapers.
She can still fit into some of her 0-3 clothes, mainly the 3's. She also wears 3-6's but the 6's are ginormous on her.
She still gets pumped breast milk, exclusively now. Big accomplishment on my part, which I feel I mention too much. She can also hold her bottle, for the most part.
For the majority of the night, she sleeps in her pack n play. But, I do find myself bringing her into bed for maybe an hour or so. I've just really missed having her so close and cuddled up with me.
She loves her new swing, her jumperoo, and finally, the bumbo. She use to HATE that thing.
She is cutting her 2nd tooth, which has been making her very irritable. She'll play but cry at the same time. Poor honey :[ I feel so incredibly bad that she has to deal with the pain.
Rice cereal in a bottle does not make her sleep longer, oh well. She still wakes up once in the middle of the night to eat. I'm wondering if this is ever going to pass.
She eats 5 or 6 ounces. If you give her anymore, she spits up a ton.
She still loves the colors orange, yellow, pink, red. Anything bright and vibrant she'll go after.
She does this thing now when you put her into the car seat. It's like she's trying to escape. She practically uses her feet to lift her body up because she doesn't want to be buckled.
And, although she still falls asleep in the car the majority of the time, she just doesn't enjoy car rides as much as she use to. She pretty much wants out the second we buckle her and get driving.
And, although she still falls asleep in the car the majority of the time, she just doesn't enjoy car rides as much as she use to. She pretty much wants out the second we buckle her and get driving.
She loves loves loves music. She's my musical baby. And she even enjoys dancing around with mama.
She has awesome hand coordination. You'll catch her reach for her toys, picking them up and I bet you know where those toys go once she picks them up...HER MOUTH! Yup, she still chews on everything. How tasty, right?
She can lift her torso of the ground during tummy time. She can roll back to belly, belly to back. She even enjoys rolling half way and hanging out on her side.
She can sit assisted and even unassisted for maybe 10 seconds before she decides to topple over.
She can laugh but doesn't do it all the time. Instead, she still vocalizes by screaming and babbling "baby talk"
But, I'm pretty sure she said the word "da" the other day. Hasn't said it since, but I'm in know rush for her to start talking. It just means my baby is growing up. Which still scares the heebie-jeebies out of me.
Still a daddy's girl and probably will be for sometime. At times, I don't mind this. Other times, I just want her to want me more often. On the other hand, she doesn't get to see her daddy to often because he is usually gone before she wakes and doesn't get home till later on.
She enjoys being outdoors and we cherish the walks that we get to go on. Especially since the weather was been wonky lately.
Laila went to the Milwaukee County Zoo for the first time on April 30th. I have a ton of pictures that I'm still in the processes of watermarking and editing. Will post once those are finished.
AND she gets to venture down to Gurnee, IL to experience Six Flags for the first time, if the weather cooperates. Although, she won't give a hoot. Lets just hope she can survive the hour and a half drive. There may be a couple pit stops.
But, In just a month, my daughter will be 6 months, meaning 6 more months till she is ONE. Scary.

Melissa over @ Days Filled with Love is hosting Things I Love Thursday. Head on over and link up!!!
Things I'm loving:
I love the way Laila smiles at me in the morning. She just has the biggest smile on her face with half her tongue sticking out. It's adorable and I absolutely cherish the mornings we spend together.
I love Weeds. I'm seriously addicted to this show. Justin and I managed to watch every.single.season with in a week...with a baby. We're awesome.
I'm loving today's weather. The sun is shining and for once, I can't see my breathe.
I love rewarding myself for accomplishing something. It helps give me the motivation to keep on trotting along.
I love this fabric and it's currently in the process of becoming Laila's crib skirt. And maybe even her new diy curtains? I'm still in the process of deciding.
I love love love Young House Love. For real, do I even have to explain why?
I love that Justin and I are talking about marriage. Eeekkkk.
I'm loving Amazon Mom. That thing is awesome. If you haven't signed up for Amazon Mom {Subscribe & Save} you are totally missing out.
I love this Little Cubby Bluebird Mini Pillow from Etsy. I think I may have to get it.
I love Baby Gaps Floral Romper and this tank. Why must baby girl stuff be so freakin' cute?!
But most of all, I love to the moon and back and back again, my family.

{one} when was the last time you used a pay phone (if ever)?
Actually, I've never used a payphone.
{two} did you ever fail a subject in school?
Sadly, yes. & I believe it was Spanish.
{three} where do you go to get your favorite hamburger/cheeseburger?
I have more than one favorite burger joint. Call me addicted to bacon burgers with lettuce. Wendys Jr Bacon Hamburgers are delicious as well as Jumbos.
{four} have you ever served jury duty?
Nope & I wouldn't mind doing jury duty if it was an interesting case. I'm into that stuff. Weird, right?
{five} how old were you when you moved out of your parents’ house?
Couple months after turning 18.
{six} what is your favorite color to wear?
I love to wear bright colors, reminds me of spring/summertime. But, I also like to wear black because it's flattering on me. Makes me look thin, which I definitely am not.
{seven} do you have a pair of shoes that you wear all the time?
Clogs. And if I'm not wearing clogs, I'm barefoot.
{eight} do you enjoy talk radio?
I don't mind some.
{nine} if you could turn one unhealthy food into a healthy one, what food would it be?
Cookies and every single kind of cookie out there. Especially double chocolate chip. Oh.my.gosh. Can you see the drool hanging from my mouth?
{ten} who is the best speaker you’ve ever heard in person?
Honestly, I've only heard a couple speakers and I can't even remember their names. Such a shame.
