AngelSounds

Just today I decided to order my very own fetal doppler.
I hope that was a good idea!
I know I am going to LOVE being able to hear my babies heartbeat in the comfort of my own home and whenever I want...but what happens If I can't find babies heartbeat?
Then I will be a mess and panic and assume that something bad has happened.
That's how I function.

I'm hoping it goes smoothly and works great.
The best part about it, it was only $25 w/ free shipping & got awesome reviews !
Wish me luck!

17 Weeks 4 Days

How far along? 17 weeks 4 days!
Weight gain/loss: Not Sure.
Symptoms: The headaches have calmed down a lot, I wish I could say the same about my back, it just seems to be getting worse and Tylenol doesn't help :[ I pee a lot and am still taking naps. Otherwise, I'm not puking or anything gross. I'm feeling pretty good for the most part.
Maternity clothes? Beaters & beband but I haven't been wearing it.
Stretch marks? Previous ones, bummer.
Sleep? I've still been tired a lot but I sleep pretty well.
Best moment this week? Thinking that I felt baby move around!
Food cravings: corn corn corn. weird. Strawberries, yumm.
Gender: July 16th and we will know! :D
Belly button in or out? Innie
Movement? I think I've been feeling baby in there. I can't be positive though but something is definitely going on!
What I miss? Not peeing so much, alcoholic drinks.
What I'm looking forward to: I have an appt tomorrow & might be able to see baby. We also find out if we are having a boy or girl on July 16!
Milestones: Feeling baby move, at least I think I did. :]

What's Baby Up To?
My how your baby has grown! Baby is about the size of your palm, weighs about five ounces, and is developing some body fat (join the club, baby!). Your baby's heart is now regulated by the brain (no more random beats) to beat 140 to 150 times per minute — about twice as fast as yours! What else is up? S/he is practicing their survival skills that are needed at birth — like sucking and swallowing.

Symptoms: The headaches come and go, my backs still hurting, I have only ONE effing bra that fits (I ordered 2 more today from VS) discharge...gross. The hungryness has gone down a tid bit, I pee a lot. Eh, that's it I think.
Maternity Clothes: Beband mostly and my maternity beaters.
Stretch marks? Just previous ones I had.
Sleep? Not lacking at all, I still seem to want to sleep allll thee timmeee.
Best moment this week? The week has just begun but I swear I felt flutters, at least I hope I did.
Food Cravings: CORN!
Gender: We find out very soon :]
Belly button in or out? In
Movement: I think I felt flutters, but I could be wrong.
What I miss? The movie theater. There are movies out I would love to see but I know I won't make it without having to go to the bathroom at least 3 times.
What I'm looking forward to: Appointment on the 1st and Anatomy Scan on the 16th!
Milestones: Making it to 16 weeks! Time has flown.
What's Baby Up To?
Your baby now weighs in at a whopping three to five ounces, and s/he's four to five inches in length. The bones that are now in place in her/his ears means s/he can probably hear your voice as you talk to your partner and pals and sing in the car. While s/he’s getting used to your voice, the tiny muscles in his/her body, especially the ones in his/her back, are gaining strength, so s/he can straighten out a little more. And thanks to his/her developing facial muscles, your baby is capable of making a few expressive frowns and squints, even at this early stage. (Don’t worry, those frowns have nothing to do with the sound of your voice!) And his/her eyes are finally working, making small side-to-side movements and perceiving light (although the eyelids are still sealed). Peekaboo!

Hehe, and speaking of our baby being able to hear, over the weekend Justin and I went to the Plymouth Dirt Races which was freaking awesome but I did feel bad because the noise was incredibly loud my ears were ringing. Sooo If baby could hear, I wonder what It sounded like to him/her. Hmm. Either way, I had a wonderful time.

Fathers Day was Sunday ... people were texting Justin saying Happy Soon-To-Be Fathers Day. I couldn't stop smiling, I just loved the way it sounded and I love to think of Justin being a daddy to an amazing son or daughter. He's going to be great! :] I wuv him.

1037 Kiss FM

*The average women dates 24 guys before she meets the one she wants. That might sound like a lot, but it includes guys they 'dated' and guys they just 'went on dates with.'
I am going to guess and say I have dated around 12 guys?? That's just a guess, I could be completely wrong. The number could be higher or lower. I have no clue. I do know that Justin is definitely the one I want, almost going on 3 years :]

*7 % of women go on 41 to 60 dates before finding someone they like.

*And 1 % of women said they'd been on 61 to 80 dates before finding someone they liked.

* A third of women have left halfway through a date after deciding the other person was definitely WRONG for them.
I don't think I have left in the middle of the date, I probably just let myself suffer and pretended I was having a good time.

*And one in four women will meet a guy just once before deciding whether or not he is "the one."

*35 % will give a man two dates, and 16 % make their decision after three dates.

*And even when a guy pays, a single date costs a woman around $127, which factors in the money she spends on her hair, clothes, tanning (?) getting there, and contributing to food, drink, and entertainment.
*That price is ridiculous. I do my own hair, wear clothes I already own and won't go tanning for a guy. If you don't like my paleness, than eff off. Isn't your date suppose to pick you up and pay? I know that's not always the case, even I've paid for dates before :]

Pure Romance

Ever been to a Pure Romance Party?

In case you don't know what Pure Romance is, they are a in-home party company that sells a premier line of relationship aids, lubricants, heighteners, and bedroom accessories. Their products are not available in stores. You can either host a party and order there or order online. I think their products are fantastic!

I definitely recommend going to a Pure Romance Party sometime in your life. It's a great experience and lots of fun. I went to one over the weekend (that my mother invited me to) and had such an amazing time. I'm pretty sure my jaw was dropped throughout most of the time and looked like a complete idiot but oh well. I had fun and spent way too much money! I'm even thinking about hosting my own party :D

14 weeks 4 days

How far along? 14 weeks 4 days
Weight gain/loss: At my last appointment, I didn't look at the scale.
Maternity Clothes? Don't need them but I sometimes wear them.
Stretch marks? Previous ones I had and still there.
Sleep? It comes and goes, depends on the night.
Symptoms? My backs been killing me lately, the headaches come and go, the nipples still feel like their being stabbed with a knife, not to mention a weird stinging pain on my right boob... :/ I'm a hungry hungry hippo, toilet is still my best friend and pantyliners will be as well..
Best moment this week? Scheduling my anatomy scan.
Food cravings: Corn.
Gender: We find out either July 1st of July 16th. :D
Belly button in or out? Still innie.
Movement? Probably just gas and stomach growlings, who knows.
What I miss? I definitely miss not always being hungry.
What I'm looking forward to? Finding out the gender in a couple weeks, buying my JuJuBe Diaper Bag.
Milestones: Making it this far! I can't believe how fast time has flown.
What's baby up to?
Now the size of your clenched fist, your baby is more fluid-like in movements, so s/he’s no longer doing the jerk every time s/he repositions his/her arms and legs. Other developments this week include a roof of their own (inside their mouth, that is) as well as intestinal activity: His/her intestines are producing meconium (which is the waste that will make up his first bowel movement after birth). S/He is also sporting a downy coating of hair (lanugo) that keeps him nice and warm. Not to worry — you won't give birth to a monkey; baby fat will accumulate over the next few months and take over the function of keeping your baby warm and toasty —allowing most of that hair to shed.

xoxo.

Shadow Waltz

I can finally post! What a relief, even though it's nothing too exciting.
My new obsession lately is diaper bags, Ju Ju Be diaper bags to be more specific.
And now I have found the perfect print, that will be available June 21st. Eeekkk.
I will definitely be buying it, no matter what.

BFF, PackaBe, & BePrepared

The New B.F.F bag - not my style

The Mighty Be

Isn't it awesome and just fabulous? I love the hot pink on the inside. :D
Totally me & so I know I will have other things to use after babyhood.
The bags that are shown are not any of the ones I wanted.
I have decided to get the Messenger Be-All bag, it's shown in another post of mine.
I think it's absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to order it!

Be-All vs. B.F.F
The one on the left is the Messenger Be-All bag and the bag I will be getting in the new black/pink print, called Shadow Waltz

Is it June 21st yet?

I LOVE both of these designs.

It's a tough decision picking out a Ju-Ju-Be or Vera Bradley diaper bag.

*One in three admit they'll tell a friend she looks terrible in an outfit...even when she looks hot...just so she'll change.

I was scavenging through blogs today and found an awesome DIY project that I can't pass up.

Ta-Da! Book Slings!
See the little books peeking out? Genius! I am definitely a reader and want my child to enjoy reading as much as I do, so I will definitely be putting at least 2 of these clever Book Slings up! On to looking for the perfect fabric for either a boy or girl!
I can't wait to start. :]
How far along? 13 weeks 3 days. Hello 2nd Trimester :]

Milestones: Hitting the 2nd Trimester!!

What's up with your baby?
Your (well, mine actually) fetus is about three inches long and the size of a peach at 13 weeks pregnant. But don't compare your fetus with the fetus next door. Starting about now, babies begin growing at different paces, some faster than others, some more slowly, though they all follow the same developmental path. Growing at a universally breakneck speed now is your baby's body as it tries to catch up to the head in terms of size. Though your baby's head is about half the size of its body now, by the time your baby is ready to make his or her entrance into the world, the head will be only one-fourth as large as the body.

Your baby's intestines are also in for some big changes right now. Up till this point, they've been growing in a cavity inside the umbilical cord; but now they're moving to their permanent (and more conveniently located) address, in your baby's abdomen. And to serve your growing baby's needs, the placenta is also growing. It weighs about an ounce now and will weigh one to two pounds at birth (something else you'll soon be able to blame your weight gain on!).
Also developing this week: your baby's vocal chords. Because sound can't travel through your uterus (your baby's current habitat), you won't be able to hear any sounds or cries just yet, but oh boy (or girl) — those vocal chords will get a good workout once that baby is born.

Yay :]

XO
the lovely me.
